Little Plastic Boxes

Little Plastic Boxes

Little plastic boxes, taking over my house
They fill my basement and frustrate my spouse
Little plastic boxes, stacked up to the roof
Under the rafters is where you find truth

Little plastic boxes, translucent and water-tight
Keep my things dry, show me what’s inside
Little plastic boxes, maintain my calm and zen
Protect my secrets in their plastic pens

Little plastic boxes bring peace to my nerves
Yeah, they make me feel all right
Little plastic boxes, taking over my world
Yeah, I think they’re outta sight

Little plastic boxes, hidden under my bed
Collect the dreams as they drip from my head
Little plastic boxes, making over my world
So neat and tidy, I gave a plastic box to my girl

Little plastic boxes, ain’t no stoppin’ us now
Fully committed, I will not disavow
Little plastic boxes, let me tell you what
Don’t try to challenge, I will just rebut

Little plastic boxes bring peace to my nerves
Yeah, they make me feel all right
Little plastic boxes, taking over my world
Yeah, I think they’re outta sight

Little plastic boxes (I gotta have my)
Little plastic boxes (I gotta have my)
Little plastic boxes (I gotta have my)
Little plastic boxes
